Depression tells you all sorts of LIES; yes, they are lies believe it or not. It also makes you come to some pretty serious and unnecessary conclusions such as:

- It's all or nothing: Deciding that falling slightly short of your goals makes you a total failure

-Overgeneralization: "Because it would worked out badly once before,it will work out badly every time."

-Mind reading: Assuming other people think negaviely of you without any proof

-Minimizing: Disregarding the importance of your qualities or accomplishments

-Emotional Justification: "I feel hopeless;therefore, things are hopeless."

There are MANY more conclusions that depression sometimes (ALWAYS) makes you come to. But the 5 listed above are the one's that stick out to me the most.

That still small voice 'depression'...that nasty monster, telling you all of these lies of how you aren't anything positive...guess what?

It's lying.

I promise you:

1. You got this.

2. You are going to make it.

3.YOU ARE GOING TO WIN. Because you are an overcomer.
